1. Yes! I used to throw up before our band would go onstange. I'd get so nervous, I'd start sweating profusely, then get that funny taste in my mouth, then nausia, then I'd make a run for the sidewalk or bathroom. It usually sounded like "Hue........chk," followed by a deep intake of Air. I knew a drummer who used to keep a bucket by his drum kit and he'd often throw up during the show...on command. Wild.
2. No. It's useless and too late anyhow. When you have to go up, you have to go up. If you can't do , you should never have accepted to do so. The key lies in yourself : know what you can do, don't accept an offer that requires you to do (perform) in public for more than what you are comfortable with. Pushing that limit should be done in the privacy of your rehearsal room / school / study.
