I've seen a number of weddings there. They will let you cater your event so you could do an inexpensive cook-out. Adams-Hanover Archery or Outdoor Club. This is located near Abbottstown. There is an outside area by a pond that is very pretty. There is an indoor facility that, while isn't gorgeous, could be decorated for a pretty reception.
