wedding planning? I am planning on having my wedding at sunset on the beach. The day I am planning, the sunset is supposed to be at 8pm. I am inviting adults and children to the wedding, but will people want to bring their kids to a sunset wedding and evening reception? BTW, the wedding location is about a 2-3 hour drive for most people attending. Thanks! so should I not invite kids...? I want them there...but if it would just be a hassle for the parents?... It is my family that has kids... I have a huge catholic/polish family and we are really close... I would think they would come... Why don't you think they would? I guess I should add that it is a private beach with a 3 br house... Wedding Planning.? My boyfriend and I got engaged in July and have started our wedding planning. We decided on a theme and colors we'd like and a date, May 21st, 2008, but we still need to work out more details for it. If one of those people does not do as they should the wedding could be a disaster. In addition to that there is a tremendous amount of planning and coordinating involved. At "The Wedding Chapel" everything is controlled by us. There is no ball to drop. Many times prices are so inflated that the couple who is so excited about their big day, has to scale back. What is your biggest pet peeve in your wedding planning? What is REALLY bugging you while you're planning your wedding? A nagging mother? An unhelpful fiance? Where do I find information on wedding planning? My boyfriend and I are tenatively planning to get married in the middle of 2010. I know that you can never start too early nor can you save enough money for the wedding. I have no idea how to plan a wedding and what the timeline is for certain things. Is there a website that can kind of give me a walk thru for planning a wedding? We want to do it ourselves so that it is our wedding and not our parents lol.

Can someone give me some advice on planning a cheap wedding? I'm thinking of a theme wedding but we are rather broke and know nothing about wedding planning. Do i need to be a certified (as in have a certificate from a course) to start my own wedding planning business PLEASE HELP!! DESPERATE . So instead of having completed a course learn by reading books on planning a wedding- being a wedding planner, internet etc - no certificate

Any tips for wedding planning from far away? My fiance and I live in Alaska and we are getting married next fall in North Dakota. We don't have a lot of money to make frequent trips back to plan things so we will be doing most of the planning through phone, mail, email, etc. We want to have a nice wedding without having to spend a ton. Any suggestions on not getting ripped off since we may have to book certain things like reception hall/ dj / flowers etc without the benefit of sitting down face to face with the respective business owners???? Also, any tips on centerpieces/decorations??? We don't want a bunch of stuff that we will have to find storage for or have to try to bring back on the plane with us.
